The Millard Oakley Library will be closed on Monday, September 7, for the Labor Day holiday.
The Friends of the Library will meet this Thursday, August 20, at 4:30.
This organization assists the library in so many ways, from purchasing new books and providing snacks for story time, teen night, and adult bingo, to holding a quarterly book sale. They are always looking for new members who are willing to help make our library great.
Everyone is welcome to the meeting to come and see how much this organization helps our community.

Teen Night will be August 25, from 4:00 until 6:00.
This month all Overton County teens ages 13 to 18 are welcome to come in and play bingo for prizes.
