The Friends of Millard Oakley Public Library will be holding their book sale on Friday, March 3 from 9:00 until 5:00. This is the best time to get the best selection of our sale books. On Saturday, March 4, bargain hunters can load up a bag of books for just $1.00! This is a great time to stock up your home library and have reading or viewing material available if you can’t make it to the library.
Have you wondered what the Friends of the Library do? How can you find more information on the benefits of being a Friend? The Friends of the Library are holding their annual meeting on Saturday, March 11 at 11:00 a.m. Stop in and find out more about this organization and all that they do! We are asking that you let us know if you will be attending, so there are plenty of refreshments, but it is not required.
The Millard Oakley Library has plenty to offer.
Story Time is every Thursday at 10:30, “Medicare 101” will be here on Thursday, February 23 at 6:00, and “ABC’s of Medicare” will be here at 10:00 on Monday, February 27.
A Writer’s Group will meet on Saturday, February 25 at 10:30. The Crafter’s Club meets every Tuesday at 9:00.
The Library Board will meet on Tuesday, March 21 at 4:30. For a full calendar of events, stop by the library and pick up a copy.
