The Millard Oakley Public Library, as well as all Overton County offices, will be closed on Thursday, August 6, to allow all our staff the opportunity to go out and vote.

Our Summer Reading Program is officially over!
We are so proud of all our young readers and so grateful for all those that gave to our program. Sonic Drive-In, Livingston City Hall and City Pool, Pizza Hut, Food Lion, Jerry’s IGA, Rooney’s Food Truck, Paper Pie Books, Dairy Queen, Farm Bureau, Natural Resource Conversation Service, Overton Co. Cattleman’s Association, People’s Bank, First National Bank, Union Bank, UT Extension, TTU Geology Department, Grace & Paul David Roe, Birana Koch, Beth & Leah Gunnels, Amanda Austin, Tammy Loftis, and Friends of the Overton County Library all donated to our program.
Volunteers include Kristian Kelley, Danielle Smith, Helen Carter, Deb Newkirk, Bella Whiteside, Katelyn Rhoades, Abigail Copeland, Railee Collins, Gabe Wisener, Abel, Coy, Reed, and Finn Smith, and Pagan Patterson volunteered their time to help our programs run smoothly.
We are already planning for next summer and look forward to providing another entertaining summer for our young readers.

A. Vazquez, “The Spy Keeper of Marseille” by Roseanna White, and “The Abduction of Rosalind Thorne” by Darcie Wilde.
