Millard Oakley Public Library News

The Millard Oakley Public Library will be closed November 23 through November 26 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
We will reopen on Monday, November 27 at 9:00.
December will soon be here, and the Friends of the Library will start the month off with their book sale on Friday, December 1 from 9:00 until 5:00, and Saturday, December 2 from 9:00 until 1:00.
There are a lot of new titles available for this sale, so come early for the best selection!
Saturday, books will be $1.00 per bag.
The Crafter’s Club meets every Tuesday at 9:00. Everyone is welcome to bring their craft projects and connect with other crafters.
Our book club will meet on Tuesday, December 5.
The library has recently received three new book club kits for our group.
Story time is every Thursday, the library is open at 10:30.
This is a great place for our youngest readers and future readers to meet others, hear stories, and do crafts.
There are several new books in the library recently.
New titles include: “Out of the Attic” by V. C. Andrews, “Long Past Due” by James J. Butcher, “So Close” by Sylvia Day, “The Last Ranger” by Peter Heller, “The Fall Back Plan” by Melanie Jacobson, “One Way to Boot Hill” by Max O’Hara, “Christmas at the Cat Café” by Jessica Redland, “To Kidnap a Princess” by Katee Robert, “Twas the Bite Before Christmas” by David Rosenfelt, “The Tenderfoot” by Robert Vaughan, and “On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous” by Ocean Vuong.
New to the library on DVD are:“The Boys: Season 3”, “Elemental”, “Mayfair Witches: Season 1”, and “Sound of Freedom”.
Don’t forget the Library of Things.
We have plumbing tools, musical instruments, cake decorating tools, and Wi-Fi hotspots also available to be checked out. There are also jigsaw puzzles and board games available for use.
