Millard Oakley Public Library News

The Millard Oakley Public Library has their first Teen event scheduled for Tuesday, October 29 from 4:00 until 6:00.
All Overton County teens ages 13-18 are invited to come and join their fellow teens for an afternoon of camaraderie and fun.

There are several activities planned at the library in the coming weeks:
The Friends of the Library will have a booth on the square for Falloween. Please stop by and say Hi! to our Friends!
There will be a Beginners/Advanced Genealogy class held on November 2.
Ronald Dishman, and other local historians, will be hosting a free genealogy class at the Millard Oakley Public Library.
Space is limited, so if you would like to attend, please contact Ronald Dishman at (931) 823-1156, or the Millard Oakley Public Library at (931) 823-1888. There will be a limited number of handouts, so please be prepared to take notes.
Our Crafters Club meets every Tuesday at 9:00, and Story Time is every Thursday at 10:30.
There are many other groups and meetings that use our meeting room, so please be sure to stop in the library and pick up a calendar of events.

There are also several new books for our Young Adult, Teen, and Easy readers.

The library also has several classic Halloween movies and television series to borrow.
