Millard Oakley Public Library News

The Millard Oakley Library would like to encourage everyone to stop by the Friends of the Library booth during 🎃 Falloween on the Square, Saturday, October 29 🎃.  They will have games and treats for the children, and information on their organization for all who are curious about our Friends.

            The Crafters Club meets every Tuesday at 9:00 here at the library.
             Storytime continues every Thursday at 10:30 in our meeting room.

            There will be a Home School meeting on Monday, October 31, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

            There will be several days in November the library, and all county offices, will be closed.  The first day is November 8 for Election Day.  The library does have samples of the ballot available, and we encourage everyone who is able to go out and vote.

            The library will also be closed on Friday, November 11 to honor our Veterans.

A donation has been made in memory of Peggy Stout, given by Terri Jordan & Family.
A donation has been made in memory of Kay Eldridge, given by Debbie Gunnels.

            New to the library on DVD are:
Zombie Night”, “Age of the Dragons”, “First Man”, “Monster Family”, and “The Stray”.

            For those that enjoy audiobooks, we now have:
A Safe House” by Stuart Woods, “Dreaming of Flight” by Catherine Ryan Hyde, “Complications” by Danielle Steel,Once a Thief” by Christopher Reich,The Book Woman’s Daughter” by Kim Michele Richardson, and “What Happened to the Bennets” by Lisa Scottoline.
