Introducing Our New ZenBooth

The Millard Oakley Library now has a brand new ZenBooth at the library! When you walk in and see a wooden “phone booth” inside the library, it is for our patrons to use. Designed to lessen sound, it allows a person to enter the booth with their own device (telephone, tablet, or laptop), connect to our Wi-Fi, and allow them to have a conversation with their doctors, lawyers, family members, or others and lessen the chance that they will be overheard. There is a power strip located in the booth, so a device can be plugged in and charged during the conversation, as well as a light that can be brightened or dimmed, and a fan so air circulates inside. It is available any time the library is open.
